The moment I hear the name, and I'm sure it applies to almost all of you, I recall it as that second-behind-Pixar studio that was in heavy competition in the 2000s, producing classics like Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, or Kung Fu Panda. By the 2010s though, Disney came back with 3D animation, and the sneaky Illumination slowly crept up the charts with their Despicable Me franchise.
